Art & Culture Travel International
Art in the City
Jacqueline has many years experience of leading groups on history of art trips to cities such as Paris, Madrid, Barcelona, Berlin and New York. The detailed itineraries vary, but as with ACT in London, the format is always based on learning about the art and architecture through illustrated talks and then visiting the relevant locations to bring the art and architecture to life by seeing it 'in the flesh'. The duration of the trips varies between three and six days and also includes selected wining and dining experiences, as well as some pre-arranged local cultural experiences in the evenings.
THE ARTS SOCIETY (formerly NADFAS)
As an Arts Society accredited lecturer, Jacqueline delivers lectures to the international network of Arts Society affiliated societies, when requested. In addition to a variety of lectures throughout the UK, upcoming engagements include lecture tours of New Zealand, Australia and Malaysia in 2018-19.
ACT International also offers bespoke courses in history of art to individuals and small groups worldwide. The contents of the courses are tailor-made to the customers' requirements and the illustrated lectures are delivered at mutually-agreed locations and times. Where the contents align with Jacqueline's own areas of specialisation, she delivers the courses in person. Where another area of specialisation is required, Jacqueline uses her expertise and extensive network to select the appropriate specialist and to manage the delivery to the customers' requirements.
