Art & Culture Travel International
Art in the City
Jacqueline has many years experience of leading groups on history of art trips to cities such as Paris, Madrid, Barcelona, Berlin and New York. Ian focusses his attention and expertise on Spain. The detailed itineraries vary, but as with ACT in London, the format is always based on learning about the art and architecture through illustrated talks and then visiting the relevant locations to bring the art and architecture to life by seeing it 'in the flesh'. The duration of the trips varies between three and six days and also includes selected wining and dining experiences, as well as some pre-arranged local cultural experiences in the evenings.
THE ARTS SOCIETY
As Arts Society accredited lecturers, Jacqueline and Ian deliver lectures to the international network of Arts Society affiliated societies, when requested. In addition to a variety of lectures throughout the UK, engagements include lecture tours of New Zealand and Australia, Abu Dhabi, Germany, Portugal, Spain, Menorca and Majorca
Bespoke Courses
ACT International also offers bespoke courses in history of art to individuals and small groups worldwide. The contents of the courses are tailor-made to the customers' requirements and the illustrated lectures are delivered at mutually-agreed locations and times. Where the contents align with Jacqueline and Ian's own areas of specialisation, they deliver the courses in person or more recently online.
Anyone interested in discussing a bespoke course should contact ACT by completing the CONTACT form.
